Once again, I am organising a jam in memory of my younger brother, going down at the Kempsey skatepark on January 27th. Each year, we have raised money for the Westmead Childrens hospital, and this is no different. We wish to add onto the $2000 we've already raised over the years. Last year's was the most fun I've ever had on my bike, and hopefully this year will be another repeat. As you may or may not be aware, the LUX crew jumped on the Roadtripz bus and tripped from their Fortitude Valley home, up the coast to Gladstone. They have one of the most stacked teams in the country, so it kinda goes without saying that some pretty wild shit went down; which is captured in the 17 minute video below. I know it sounds like a lot, but it doesn't seem that long. Tom Stretton has been on the LUX team for a little while now, and his obligatory 'Welcome to the Team' video just dropped. Tom definitely fills his crazy front wheel trick quota in this, along with getting a bunch of other cool, smooth stuff done as well. The last one, I think, is a new one.

Diversity's own Mitch Wood and Justy Bumpstead, and LUXBMX's master-mechanic Ev Jaques got in this real fun looking session at a local park in Brisbane. Mitch has really changed his style since I last saw him, and Justy and Ev kill it as usual. Colony's new LTD frame just dropped, and I really feel it. The LTD is handmade in the FBM factory in the US, unlike the rest of their range, which is made in Taiwan. I think it's a really cool concept, seen here in the shape of a custom by LUX BMX store . Real cool.

BMX Nostalgia is a DVD by Jack Birtles, and is based around the South East Queensland scene. Jack's web content is always top notch, and I'm sure his DVD will be no different.
