Benn Pigot - Tora Sumi x Etnies

John Young just dropped Benn Pigot's Etnies /Tora Sumi welcome video, and it is absolutely ridiculous. This is the closest any video has come to showing just how fucking good Benn is. His token big airs mixed in with some high-speed bowl lines and some other goodness makes this the best video you'll watch this week. John's production is next-level, too. Filming at Five Dock is not an easy task, but John makes it look way too good. I'm stoked! Benn Pigot - Tora Sumi x Etnies from John Young on Vimeo .

Benn Pigot on Etnies

Image
After quitting the Nike program earlier in the year, Benn Pigot has found a home on the ever-growing local Etnies program. There's a welcome video in the works, as well, which is sure to be sick. Benn roasting at Elanora. Photo by Drew Raison

Minty- Talk Is Cheap

Minty caused quite a stir with his first Cult video, and this one is sure to get a similar reaction. Ben has one of the more buttery styles in Australian street, and puts together some real rad grind lines, as well as some opposite stuff, wallrides and more. Minty's riding combined with John Young's prowess behind the lens makes for a fucking amazing video.

Plazapalooza 4

This has been online for a couple of weeks now, and somehow it slipped through the cracks. The fourth installment of John Young's Plazapalooza videos. This one features Jack Elkins, Nick Gascoine, Cody Ryan, Danger, JP Chavez and Ammon Chesworth and was filmed at plazas in Sydney and Canberra. Ammon's flatrail moves are groundbreaking! Benn Pigot's Datura Bars Promo

Two fucking rad John Young produced videos in two days; this time in the form of a promo for Benn's signature Tempered Datura bar. It's been a while, but it was definitely worth the wait. The first clip is probably the most brutal thing I've ever seen in person. Benn Pigot's Datura Bars by Tempered Goods from John Young on Vimeo .

Slay the Rail 2012

Sydney video extraordinaire John Young put together this awesome video from this years Slay the Rail contest in Melbourne. You already know this is bullshit good on all fronts. Slay the Rail 2012 from John Young on Vimeo .

Fit Australia Melbourne Trip

This premiered at Slay The Rails last night; so if you, like me, didn't make it down you can check it all out here. Featuring Jack Elkins, Dullah Djawas, Luke Vandenberg and Tenna , the riding level is obviously high, and with John Young covering the production side of things; you already know it's gonna be crisp.

Hell on Wheels- End of Daylight Savings Jam 2011

Mere hours before this years EODSJ , John Young dropped this gem from last years jam to remind you that DEATHBOWL IS COMING . Pigot, Gunn, Rusty, Joe Rich, Mat Muttock, Seaton Spratt, Xave Koen, Slim and many more feature in this. Watching this was the highlight of my day. If you can get to Five Dock before 3pm today, do it.

Fit Australia Trip

Fit Australia team riders Jack Elkins and Luke Vandenberg took a trip and met up with their Canberran counterpart Luke 'Fitty' Wainman in our nation's capital. Luke V has some solid clips, and Fitty is buttery at Weston, but Elkins steals the spotlight, and it's produced by John Young , so you know it's good. Afray Mixtape Vol 1

Image
Wow. Afray definitely made their 'rebirth' worthwhile. Their crew of Chris 'Danger' O'Donnell, Tom Stretton, Mitchell Macdonald, Zac Miner, Raphael Jeroma-Williams, and Liam Fahy-Hampton teamed up with grandwizard of Australian video John Young to produce this fucking incredible edit. I'm not even gonna try and justify it with words, just watch it here.

Plazapalooza PT3

The third installment of John Young's Plazapalooza series doesn't disappoint. It's production is so on point, as is to be expected from John, and the riding is fucking dialled. Featuring Danger, John Young, Ben Clarkson, Jadan Roxburgh, Troy Charlesworth, Liam Zingbergs, Raph Jeroma-Williams, Tom Stretton, Kym Grosser, Cody Ryan, Zac Miner and Flagz . Highlights for me were John getting a clip, Stretton's wild hang five pole jam thing at Nimbin, and Kym's Ice to real turndown on a foot high ledge.

Slay the Rails 2

A rail jam in a nightclub is always gonna be badass. Slay the Rails 2 went down recently in Melbourne's Revolver , with an incredibly stacked lineup of Australian street riders, it went off. This edit was put together by John Young , with filming help from Flagz, and Matt Holmes, so you know everything about it is on point. I won't spoil anything, but it's more than worth the watch. Thanks to 2020, Dishonour, Fit, Cinema Wheels, Etnies and Revolver Nightclub for making it all possible.

Danger on The Set.

I have heard whispers of Danger leaving the Volume distro team to ride for The Set for a while now, and I guess this welcome edit makes it official. I've really enjoyed watching Danger make the transition from a supermega to the legitimate street rider that he is today. Gotta say, I really enjoyed this video. Overtooth both ways on legit rails, switch 180 bar railhop and more impressive riding. John Young was on the production side of things, so you already know the filming and editing is crisp. Down Underground 2- Sydney

A few weeks ago, round 2 of Australia's national flatland series, Down Underground went down at Summer Hill skatepark in Sydney's inner-west, courtesy of Freestyle Now and video-savvy man John Young was there to capture all the action. Part One of this edit is entirely flat, however, part 2 features some sweet little flat rail jibs from Greg Sing , Hayden Fowler, Lee Cruickshank DUG Round 2 - Flatland from John Young on Vimeo . Street Fighter!

Hell on Wheels are running this really dope competition at the moment. They've built up these two amazing customs from Bone Deth and Animal/Skavenger and you vote on which you think will sell first. If you get it right, you go into the draw to win a prize pack from that company. Visit their facebook to vote. Get on it! Thanks to John Young for the dope video! Kippin' Everyday

More good shit from the Billy Brooks and the rest of the Sydney posse. Including, but not limited to: blood splatter, shit talking, cats, girly looking Korean guys and bikes. Starring Billy Brooks, Lee Cruickshank, Mat Lawton, Ricky Muller, John Young and Tom Appleby. Kippin on the regular from billy sometimes on Vimeo .

Plazapalooza PT2

Another banging edit from John Young, part 2 of his plazapalooza series! Features Macca, Tom Stretton, Mike Czajkowski and Raph Jeroma-Williams killing a nice little spot at night. Plazapalooza PT2 from John Young on Vimeo .

Hell on Wheels Winter Wonderland

Will Hermann is a product of the motherland, and the recent weather has made him feel right at home. In conjunction with Tom Boorman and John Young , will was able to create a white winter wonderland at the shop. This makes me happy.

HALLOWEEN JAM!

This is incredible! All the people in attendance will agree that this day was the shit! Benn Pigot, Will Gunn, Warren Bowers, Matty Lawton, Tom Stretton, MOLE FOOT, Tom Boorman , Sam Northedge-Wright, Dave Cragg, Daniel Donges and many more dudes fucking kill it in this. Huge ups to John Young for doing the video, and the supporters Tempered Goods, Hell on Wheels, BMX Mafia and Nahyouritemate for making the day possible. If you're not there next year, Xave Koen will personally punish you... Halloween Jam 2010 from John Young on Vimeo .

PLAZAPALOOZA Part 1

PLAZAPALOOZA PT 1 from John Young on Vimeo . Heres a ridiculous edit from John Young, features clips from danger and dennis enarson amongst others. Definitely a must watch!
