Winter Warmer Bicycle Stuntfest

Image
Here's the flyer for a jam I've organised, going down on July 1st at the Port Macquarie skatepark. There'll be rail and bowl contests, as well as giveaways and other impromptu events on the day. It should be rad! Of course, it wouldn't be possible without the support of Back Bone BMX , Stowaway Distribution , Triple Six Distribution , Hell on Wheels , Dishonour and Graham Seers Cyclery . Back Bone BMX: ACT Mixtape

Hot on the heels of their recent team mixtape, Back Bone come through with the second mixtape this month, this time from Canberra's creative mastermind Brendan 'B-Dog' Boeck ! This features the entire extended Back Bone family, with enough variety so as to have something for everyone. Notable mentions include Tyson Jones-Peni, Zac Miner, Russel Brindley, Jack O'Reilly, Chris Harti and Will Gunn , but there is way too much goodness to talk about, but Will & Harti's last few clips are something else. Great production, awesome soundtrack and amazing riding; Just press play.

Back Bone DVX Mixtape

Back Bone just dropped their new feel good mixtape, featuring a good chunk of their team, plus a cameo from Cooper Brownlee . Other notable appearances from Zac Miner , Will Gunn, Chris Harti, Boss man Rhysty, Rusty, Raine Turnbull, Kelvin Pentland and Tyson Jones-Peni , who was also behind the lens on this. Riding is fucking gooooood!

Mikey Ross 'Welcome to Wethepeople'

Image
Mikey Ross has been added to the Australian Wethepeople team through BMX International , and this is his welcome edit. Plenty of stylish Canberran-style shredding, as well as some big tricks. That last clip was nuts!

Re-Up: Blake Butterfield Memorial Jam.

Image
It's just over two weeks away now, and everything is coming together nicely. Expecting a nice turnout of good dudes, gonna be a rad day! Hope to see you there! Remember, it's a charity day to raise money for the Westmead Children's Hospital in Sydney.

Jack O'reilly

B-Dog cooked up this little ditty of Jack O'reilly from scraps of two other projects. Real solid clips on the ledges at City Park in Canberra. Spotted on Back Bone Jacko don't enter no dance comps! from Brendan Boeck on Vimeo .

Rusty and Harti at Tuggers

Two of Canberra's finest and most stylish, Chris Harti and Russel Brindley at Tuggers on a casual Thursday morning. Perfect mix of Rusty's OG trails flavour, Chris' new school boost and stylecatness and classic rock and roll. Rad as fuck. Back Bone's Game of Bike

Image
Back Bone are throwing down what is dubbed as a 'friendly' game of bike. Going off that, I'm gonna make the assumption that it's all about fun, and isn't intended to be serious. Anyway, it's on this Saturday. Pop on over to the Back Bone site for more info.

The Boneyard.

The boneyard appears to be Backbone's sweet little backyard trails set up. This 45 seconds of radness is just a little taste of a session going on down there. Looks way fun. Back Bone BMX - Boneyard clips from Back Bone BMX on Vimeo .

Chris Harti- Subrosa/Backbone

Canberran style boss Chris Harti recently made the switch from Wethepeople to Subrosa, and this is somewhat of a welcome edit. Absolutely nuts transition riding. Steez for days, and boost like very few can. Chris on Cam's jumps is a treat. Despite how bullshit good this video is, it doesn't come close to doing his riding justice. Big up's to Raine Turnbull for the filming and editing, a top notch job all round. In an unrelated note; we are back online. I assure you, the lag factor had nothing to with any of us. Blogger, which is our hosting website, was busy going through maintenance, which meant we were unable to blog for a few days. Chris Harti- Backbone/Subrosa from raine Turnbull on Vimeo .

BMX Games- Dirt

Image
This years dirt course at the BMX Games was the best in history. Jason Cousins, Rhysty and the rest of the Back Bone crew definately put in the hard yards. The best thing is though, this course is staying there as a public dirt jump park! Awesome! Good mix of Trails riders like Rusty, and dirt jumpers like Brandon Dosch make for a very enjoyable video.

BMX Games- Park

This is the edit from the BMX Games this year, at Stromlo Park in Canberra. Will Gunn goes fricken huge, and Nathan Tomsic trying that mental alley-oop 360 to fakie transfer; Wild! Plenty of hops in footjams and cased boxjump tricks in here to satisfy all you Supermega's out there. Seen on Back Bone

The Liquor Train- Benn Pigot and Will Gunn

More video goodness from the man as talented as he is tall, John Young , this time featuring Benn Pigot and Will Gunn, training the BMX Games dirt jumps. You know this is going to be good. Will Gunn & Benn Pigot - The Liquor Train from John Young on Vimeo .
