Young at Heart

Sticking with the Young trails theme, we have another Will Herrmann creation. This time, it's with the creators themselves; Will and Chris Kerr. These dudes are the engineers behind some of the finest trails in the country, and watching them shred on home turf is something to behold. There is also a dope overflow gallery on the 2020 site, and a full interview with them in the latest issue of 2020 , which is out now.

2020 Throwback: Park Etiquette

Image
2020 dug through their archives and found this article on Park Etiquette from Issue 5which is really on point. A lot of the younger gen of riders could definitely benefit from reading and absorbing this, hell, even pass it on to your scooter riding enemies and maybe they'll be a little less annoying. Don't be a clown, make sure you're not in the wrong place.

Website: 2020 BMX Online

I've sorta slept on this over the last week or so, but the 2020 site has had some on point online content of late. First of was the piece with Australian Fit TM Dre Regli , and his take on sponsorship, shops, attitudes and Aus BMX as a whole. Hot on the heels of that, James caught up with Liam Fahy-Hampton who was one of the most influential riders in the mind 00's, as well as re-upping his Run at me Slut section, which is absolutely incredible if you haven't seen it. Check out Dre's interview here, and Liam's here.

Chris Whyte teamed up with Jack Elkins to produce this dope video to promo the new 2020 site . Jack destroys everything in his typical, real tech style.

2020 'That's What's Up' DVD Trailer

2020's new DVD 'That's What's Up' has been in the works for a while now, and isn't too far off being released. If this trailer is anything to go by, it should be awesome! Featuring full parts from Jerry V, Nick K, Mike Vockenson and Liam Zingbergs, as well as mix sections. In other 2020 news, their new website is live now, and is a massive improvement on their old one. Yew!

Everyday's a Saturday

Image
Or at least for some people. This is a new DVD from the magical fingertips of Troy Charlesworth, sometimes better known as Biggie Salad . Made in conjunction with 2020 , this DVD is a collection of footage from Australia and New Zeland from the past year or so. I'm sure she'll be bangin' and at $9.95, I might even buy two.

2020 Issue 39

The new 2020 mag is on the brink of dropping, and as usual, it looks mint! Featuring articles from the Dirt Pipe and Cam's Jam , as well as interviews with Jay Wilson and Mitchell McDonald, a wrap up of Unit's Strewth tour, and a rad little boogie about finding time to ride amidst the responsibilities of being a grown-up. And as usual, you can win a whole swagger of rad goodies, I know how all you kiddies love free shit. BoneDeth's own Jay Wilson get's the cover with a fucking loose 360. New 2020 Cover

Image
The new 2020 should be out soon and this is the cover... Is anyone else a bit disappointed in the cover? 2020 has had some amazing cover shots over the years (see: Zac Miner, last issue) and especially knowing what Jaie Toohey is capable of, (see: Video below) it just kind seems a bit bland. Sure the shot is pretty cool and the flip is fucking huge but I've come to expect a bit more from Australia's most popular magazine (as voted by Diversity readers). Even the other shot of Jaie on the 2020 site would have made a sweet cover. I'm sure the contents of the mag will be top notch as usual though. What do you think?
